GREAT WESTERN RALLY
George Inn, Longbridge Deverill, Wiltshire, BA12 7DG

Longbridge Deverill is on the A350 between Poole and Chippenham, just north of the A303. This is easily accessible and also benefits from various cross country routes along the rural lanes of Dorset and Wiltshire. A great venue, with a dedicated field, so plenty of parking. The pub is a venue for several car rallies in the summer, so is well set up to cater for us. Restaurant and bar snacks are available, and a barbecue in the grounds in fine weather. Rooms are available for those who wish to stay over – booking essential. We always have a competition for all models of P4, with trophies for winners. Raffle and bric a brac stall as well as a collection of spares. All Rovers are welcome, we have entertained Marauders, P2, 3, 5, 6, SD1, a P4 V8! and more modern Rovers as well. We usually entertain some non-Rovers, too. We have successfully held our rally now through both flood and pandemic, and look forward to a well attended rally this summer! To book a place, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. Roverfest 2022
Church Farm, in the village of Weston Underwood, Buckinghamshire MK46 5JS

** IMPORTANT ROVERFEST 2022 UPDATE **

The Roverfest Committee has been informed by Sywell that they are now unable to meet our previously agreed expectations and have cancelled our booking. The Roverfest committee has been able to relocate the event and have been lucky in finding, at short notice, a suitable venue 15 miles from Sywell.

Roverfest 2022 will now take place at Church Farm, in the village of Weston Underwood, Buckinghamshire MK46 5JS for the whole weekend of the 5th to 7th August 2022. Plans are in progress to provide onsite catering to satisfy existing rally bookings. The alternative venue is larger than that offered at Sywell and can accommodate limited camping and caravanning.

Rally attendees, who are currently booked at the Aviator Hotel may receive a message cancelling their booking and incorrectly stating the event has been cancelled. Roverfest 2022 HAS NOT BEEN CANCELLED just re-located.

The Lakes Rally

As usual we will be meeting up at Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway, Haverthwaite Station, nr Ulverston, LA12 8AL, on the Saturday from 10.00am and either taking the steam train to Lakeside and maybe board the Windermere Boats to Ambleside/Bowness, or stick around the station to chat some Rover chat and enjoy lunch in the superb station café. At 2.00pm we convoy a short way to the Lakeland Motor Museum, which is a joy to behold with a vast collection of vehicles and memorabilia. Again the café is a great place to meet up and enjoy tea, coffee and excellent food and wonderful Cumbrian cakes and delicacies. It is a fabulous museum, very well laid out and a mine of facts and figures from our motoring past. On Sunday morning from 10.30am we meet at Levens Hall, a charming Elizabethan family home with amazing gardens and topiary. The Levens Kitchen is well worth a visit for lunch, the fare is vast and very delicious. This is an informal gathering with a picturesque setting for the full range of Rover cars.
